MOMocrats.com was launched in September 2007 as a national collaborative blog for progressive mom bloggers to write about politics from a mom's perspective. The MOMocrats MOMochat podcast has been produced weekly since 2010 and is hosted by Donna Schwartz Mills along with Karoli and Aliza Worthington from CrooksAndLiars.com. The podcast is part of the Demcast family of podcasts.

In an ideal world, MOMocrats Karoli, Aliza Worthington, and Donna Schwartz Mills might spend an hour talking about important things like the war in Iran, climate change and the massive fires in Canada and Europe, Open AI’s rogue agent that escaped its experimental sandbox and hacked several other companies, the new reading curriculum adopted by the state of Texas.
But the world we live in right now is dominated by Donald Trump and his merry band of fascists, and so week after week, the MOMocrats' discussion centers on the staggering lawlessness, corruption, and chaos emanating from Washington.
This week's topics included the Todd Blanche vote that didn’t happen yesterday, why its necessary to simultaneously ignore polls and work enthusiastically on building turnout for the midterms, President Obama’s ad for Iowa Senate candidate Josh Turek, and why the Democratic Party needs better communicators.
